"Tears Over Moab" Original Watercolor Painting by Sandy Tyler

Rain rarely falls in the desert. But deep in the mountains, an overwhelming urge to cry befell an adventurer. The sky was clear and the brightest blue. It was difficult to overcome sadness and keep driving. They welcomed the desert and together moved forward into the unknown.

This 6" square painting is framed in a handmade pine frame and sealed with Tung Oil. The painting itself was created on FSC certified Aquabord with handmade soil watercolor. It is sealed with a honey and casein fixatif, eliminating the need for glass. There were no harsh chemicals or plastics used in the creation or finishing of this artwork.

Artwork was created by me, Sandy Tyler, in Ohio using the most sustainable materials I could find. Most materials are made by artisans in the USA.
