"Salamander Run Sunset" Original Watercolor Painting by Sandy Tyler

Sun rays light the dull grass on a cool November evening. The last echoes of gold linger in the dimming blue sky. This painting reminds viewers to stop a moment and notice their constantly changing surroundings. Beauty is everywhere.

This 6" square painting is framed in a handmade pine frame and sealed with Tung Oil. The painting itself was created on FSC certified Aquabord with handmade soil watercolor. It is sealed with a honey and casein fixatif, eliminating the need for glass. There were no harsh chemicals or plastics used in the creation or finishing of this artwork.

Artwork was created by me, Sandy Tyler, in Ohio using the most sustainable materials I could find. Most materials are made by artisans in the USA.
